By the end of this course, you should be able to

- Discuss IT strategy and execution, focusing on the challenges and proven path to an effective IT strategy
- Describe the role of customer relationship management (CRM) systems in modern business.
- Discuss how “big data” and predictive analytics are changing decision-making.
- Define a business plan to include the two major purposes.
- List the nine major parts of a typical business plan.
- Explain how to write an effective executive summary.
- Describe the key components of the following sections of a business plan: market analysis, organization and management, service/product line, marketing and sales, funding request, financial projections, and appendices.
- Describe what accredited investors are and why they are important when soliciting funds.
Successful completion of this course requires passing all of the assessments at 100 percent. The assessments can be taken multiple times.
